Fed: Friday make or break day for FTA talks
Friday's looming as the make or break day for an Australia-United States free trade
deal, with talks in Washington slowing almost to a halt.
Trade Minister MARK VAILE and his US counterpart ROBERT ZOELLICK have spent six hours
in talks, but officials from both sides are unable to say negotiations have progressed
far.
It comes as American manufacturers urge the Bush administration to wrap up the trade
